1955

Teresa, as the adage goes "Even Steven";
Balanced the Girls & Boys.
The parent tree in 1954 was even;
And the Christmas Tree laden with toys.

The stork passed over the family tree;
In nineteen-hundred and fifty-four.
And Doc, & Santa & mother & me;
Were disappointed, and no father paced the floor.

Come this Christmas as the tradition goes;
pertaining to the stork "I mean".
Early in 8th July as history goes;
The stork left Gary Wayne.

Since the stork brought this little tiker;
He is as healthy as all the rest.
No one can call Bill & Juanita piker.
But the birds that feathered their nest.

Christmas is more than a historical fact;
more than a tradition with mother and me.
More than a legion of Santa's gift sack;
It's the Christmas spirit round our family tree.
